Leafeon's upload has the debute of my "watermark.." Wanted to go with something obviously me, so what better than a Zelda symbol and Terrene's sigil? ^_~
Anyway, about Leafeon... I really love most of the coloring... About the only thing I don't like is her skin... Then again, I colored her first, and then the rest so I got more used to the pad as I went along... I like the little amount of green in the brown vines (so does TA.. ^_^)... Her hair is another thing that could be better, but I wasn't able to find one of my brown colored pencils and had to use a freshly sharpened one.. XP Overall, I'm pretty happy.. ^_^ But, do feel free to burst my ego bubble that's starting to form (aka feel free to critique).. XP
All of the Pokemon senshi were based on Manga images... So I'll give pose credit...
Pose credit - Usagi
Leafeon and Pokemon (c) Nintendo
Sailor Moon and Sailor Senshi concept (c) Naoko Takeuchi, etc.
Sailor Leafeon (c) Torn Angel and Myself
I think I enjoy this one the best...I love all the vines you put around her and the detail you put into them is great (especially showing how they curve around surfaces) I love that her top/bodice is vines, makes it more interesting.
Good work ^^

I love her shoes. A suggestion, though, with regards to the skirt. Given the pose she's in, her skirt should probably fold over the tops of her legs. Not sure if I'm explaining it right, but right now it looks as though there's a large gap in the middle of her skirt. Arranging the skirt so that there is some material that goes over her legs would make it look like a whole skirt.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
